Funeral Directors Services

At the time of making Funeral Arrangements there are many different services that may be required. Some of which you will have requested ourselves to provide at the time of the interview, others you may wish to organise yourself. We will assist you with as much or as little as you require.

Catering: We are able to offer a choice in this area. We can supply caterers to provide refreshments in your own home. We can book a private room at a local establishment (suitable for large numbers) or alternatively we now have a room available at our Mansfield Office suitable for a maximum of twenty people.

Donations: Dependant on the funeral package you have purchased, we may be able to collect and distribute donations
according to your wishes.

Floral Tributes: We now have our own florists able to supply all your floral requirements. We can leave a brochure with you or alternatively the florists will come to your home to discuss your requirements.

Hygienic Treatment: We will seek your permission to carry out this service as it offers a much better situation for the presentation of the deceased in our Chapel of Rest for anyone wishing to pay their last respects.

Monumental Masonry: All types of memorial work can be undertaken. We can provide new memorials as well as the renovation and additional inscriptions of existing memorials.

Press Notices: We are able to insert a death notice into most U.K. newspapers on your behalf. Individual papers may have their own format and they will reserve the right to edit the notice.

Printing: If you would like a lasting tribute of the funeral we can produce service sheets that mourners can use to follow the order of service, including the words of the hymns. These can be printed on card or paper.
